After recently reading the bible in its entirety, I was deeply struck by Paul's harsh position calling for the silencing of women in the church. Searching for answers, I was led to inquire about the origins of the Cathars, and I also wondered if there were any connections to the Arthurian legends. I find the connection of Guinevere and Sophie, and its implications for the holy grail to be fascinating.  Because of the inquisition, many people silenced their beliefs and opinions and much of the teachings of the faithful was imparted through story and allegory and myth; peeling back the layers to find the truth is an impossible task, yet it is something I feel compelled to do. Ask for faith!

I was moved today when my cousin shared a Facebook post asking about what people do about mental health when doom and gloom sets in. I replied, "Write poetry!"  Of course that's my personal refuge, but really, in those deepest moments of despair, that's not the time I'm most inspired to write.  In fact, in those godless times I am often not capable of doing anything productive. If we make a habit of being grateful, we can ...

Yesterday I went horseback riding on the Atlantic ocean in Palm Coast as low tide coincided with sundown.  It was just what I needed to relieve the tension with so many things hanging over my head in the recent days since receiving word that the book was published.  I spent many sleepless nights getting everything prepared, such as the book trailer, and the press releases, etc.  While driving home, a youtube clip from Sadghuru had me mesmerized.  I played it over and over at least four or five times.  I felt as if he had read my book and was speaking directly to me.  How did he know me so well?  I felt like it was the universe reaching out, caressing me after having undergone the most challenging endurance race of all time, having emerged victorious through the test of fire. Here is a link to Sadghuru's podcast that I am referring to: It is titled, "A Woman Who Walks Alone with No Husband 💪🚶‍♀️ | Her Strength, Her Journ... https://youtu.be/VEkJXwyeA-...
